Description

SolvClear is a herbal and antioxidant formula supported by traditional use in Western herbal medicine for healthy liver function and a healthy nervous system. Milk thistle is included as it is used in Western herbal medicine to promote bile flow, relieve symptoms of indigestion, and support natural liver detoxification processes.

This formula also contains Korean ginseng which is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to help support a healthy stress response and reduce mental fatigue. In addition, SolvClear includes guar gum for healthy  digestive system function and vitamins C and E for antioxidant support.Each 4.5g serve contains:

Milk thistle may cause allergic reactions in individuals sensitive to the Asteraceae family.
Guar gum is contraindicated in cases of GI obstruction and in patients anatomically predisposed to luminal obstruction. Guar gum may reduce or slow absorption of oral drugs. Guar gum, or products containing guar gum should be taken 30-60 minutes after other oral medication.
Korean ginseng should be used with caution in patients with autoimmune disease, bleeding disorders, cardiac conditions, hormone sensitive cancers, immunosuppression and insomnia. Theoretically Korean ginseng may also have an additive stimulant effect when taken with caffeine or other stimulants.28,High dose vitamin C supplements in excess of 500 mg daily, should be used with caution in patients with a history of kidney stones due to concerns that vitamin C may theoretically increase oxalate excretion.35 Vitamin C enhances iron absorption. Caution is advised with high dose vitamin C intake in individuals with iron metabolism disorders such as hereditary haemochromatosis, sideroblastic anaemia or thalassaemia.34,35 Adverse effects The ingredients in this product are generally well-tolerated.28 The most common adverse effect associated with Korean ginseng is insomnia. Milk thistle, guar gum and vitamin C have been associated with mild gastrointestinal adverse effects. These may include abdominal cramps, bloating, loose stools, flatulence, dyspepsia, nausea and vomiting.28 Milk thistle may cause rare allergic reactions in people sensitive to the Asteraceae family, including urticaria, eczema, skin rash and potentially anaphylaxis.28 Pregnancy and lactation Use of this product during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended.
